PASADENA, Calif. — eHarmony, the Internet’s #1 trusted relationship service, today announced that John and Mindy Pease, of Kailua, Hawaii, are the grand prize winners of their 2007 Success Story of the Year Contest. Each year eHarmony selects 50 couples, representing all 50 states in the United States based on their eHarmony story, and also selects a grand prize winner. In 2007, more than 25,000 eHarmony couples submitted their story in hopes of being named the winner.

As grand prize winners, John and Mindy were awarded a travel package including flight and five nights stay at a luxury resort in Orlando, Florida courtesy of Southwest Airlines Vacations and the Orlando Visitors Bureau.

“When we tell people our story, they can’t believe it,” said Mindy Pease, 2007 Success Story of the Year Contest grand prize winner. “Having a courtship with someone deployed overseas for eight months and falling in love without meeting in person seems unbelievable. I wouldn’t change one thing!”

“One of our greatest joys at eHarmony is reading the dozens of daily success stories we receive from our members all across the country,” said Greg Waldorf, CEO of eHarmony. “We’re happy to name John and Mindy our Success Story of the Year and want to thank the tens of thousands of couples that submitted their stories.
